Weekly Update - October 17, 2007

Hey people! Another great week of riding and driving around here. We have all of the shots from last week online in Tha Store here.

Quite a bit of traffic last weekend, with a nice variety of cars and bikes. The biggest group was an unexpected group of VWs on Saturday celebrating Matt Ford's open house. I was told he brought out a show winning Jetta, but wouldn't bring it past the lakes onto the Gap. :(

No major incidents, typical for weekends, with no weekend fatalities for the past few years. There were about 4 THP officers Saturday and 2 Sunday. We heard of a few people getting tickets for minor speeding...43mph etc. Y'all please take it easy out there mid-day Saturdays & Sundays.

This weekend there are a few car groups on the calendar, including Corvettes and a Honda Element rally! Be sure and get your group listed if you're planning a trip to the area.

There is also a benefit concert for local rider Jimmy "Lake Trash" Dockery at the Tallasee Store along the lakes just a few miles north of Deals Gap.
