It would seem I missed the Pacfic Coast gathering at the Gap this past weekend... hopefully the lane crosser missed them too! :O
The late apex is just setting him up for the following hi-speed straight.
That's Pat on the '89, with Brian and Jason avoiding the incursion into their lane. Brian had to readjust his line to avoid the collision.
I'm Jason the third PC. I puckered when I saw the cruiser in our lane, but Brian handled it well. I luckily was in the right of my lane setting up for the turn so he didn't get too close to me. -Jason
Good job guys... and it was a pleasure to meet you all last weekend.

Another reason to keep a little in reserve. Good recovery on y'alls part on not freaking and crashing. To the jack off artist that can't keep it in his lane. Your a inbred f*ucking idiot that needs to evaluate why you ride. I heard two others died due to lane crossing. How would you live with your self if you took someone elses life due to your ignorance and poor skillsets. Usually these are the ones that hurt / kill someone else instead of helping out the genetic pool.
one more example of nonrider almost taking out good riders , thank god everyone made it out ok . on scale of 1 to 10 I would guessed pucker factor to have been 9.97
I would say you're about right on with that guess. I puckered and I'm just sitting in front of a computer screen...
Just another example of either inexperience or not understanding what this road is all about. This is not a road to learn to ride. You should have the skills to negotiate it already. Even if you have the skills, your first pass should be at a safe speed looking for gravel, downed trees or accidents. Then ride within your means with enough awareness to avoid people like this. It is not a road to sight see, the only sights are the twisting ribbon of asphalt beneath your wheels. If you want to sight see, go to the BRP or Cherahola where there are areas to pull over to do so. If it is your first time thru, hug the right white line and keep an eye on your mirrors. Let faster riders thru in a straight by slowing down & waving them by. Now if everyone knew these simple facts maybe we wouldn't see so many LEO's and have as many sad family members mourning the loss of their loved ones.
This has been a public safety announcement.
Vmax - Amen!
Trike wasn't so lucky. Boat trailers don't have any room for avoiding action, especially when crossing the centerline too.
If this guy had been paying attention at all, he would not have gotten into this mess. This shows he is a downright danger on any road.
Yikes -- almost lost my man AND my PC! :-O
Thanks goodness for a really quick reaction on Brian's part!
