Any idea how it happened?

WOW, that would put a damper on my day. I would like to know the circumstances under which you flip a car with that low of a center of gravity. I know it's possible (obviously), but... wow.

No rollbar? Did their heads survive?

Glad you say "They were OK"

So maybe they'll not mind a little humor,,,, From the looks of this accident, we'll need to start preaching for these solstice driver to wear full face lids and maybe even leather suits :-)

I'm guessing maybe ran off the road and up the embankment a bit, then rolled back down?

Wheels caught on edge of road.
Car ran up embankment and rolled to left.
Driver had some scrapes and bruises.
Thanks to those behind who helped to get the driver free.

Correction:
Driver took turn a little too wide and got into the gravel. Was unable to get back on the road.

The dumb lady already bought a GXP, apparently not handling this one automatically qualifies you for a better one. So see squids are correct when they wreck their gixxer 600s, that it's time for them to move on to the Busa or at least the liter.

Oh... it was a woman driver?

Well there ya have it.

"just need to decide if I will get another 2.4L or move up to a GXP"

Ok, easy now guys. If it had been a rider with full gear on who took the same exact path with a GSXR and explained it similarly, we'd be offering him sources for replacement parts and wishing him well. This driver seems to me to have made a simple mistake, one that's far more forgivable than lane crossing. This driver deserves the same level of mercy we'd give one of our own (motorcyclist) under similar circumstances. The driver new and admitted their mistake humbly even. I don't see how we can judge the drivers cumulative ability based on this one incident alone. We've all been sliding down the pavement beside our bikes at one time haven't we? Even after we're supposedly "experienced" or "seasoned" riders?

I know, now I'm gonna get blasted, go ahead and blast away guys...
