Weekly Update - April 18, 2007

Introducing Screensaver!

Ok you guys can thank Keith Helton (old man on the motard down there) for finally making this happen. He's been kicking my ass for 2 years now to come out with a screensaver, and...

Here it is!

I finally made one that does what I want it to do...update every week with new photos. That's right, just download that file, right-click>Install, and it will start by running this week's highlights. Next week, it will automatically download the new highlights, and violah, you've got yerself a fancy screensaver that always has fresh content.

We'll put a link up over there on the right menu in case you get to looking for it at a later date.

Most of the photos from last week are in Tha Store. We're having some issues with photos from Friday not being displayed ("Photo temporarily unavailable") so we're still working on that.

Weird weather last weekend...pretty nice Friday, CRAZY windy Saturday, snow Sunday. I've been fightin' with blogger here to get all of the photos up, and I'm just going to have to dump the last few into this single post here. I'm beat so I'll let the shots tell the story for now...more news on the way soon...

S2000 Rally was on like Red Dawn last weekend

On a side note, I often wonder what our foreign viewers are making of my random titles and goofy comments...they're over there translating "on like Red Dawn" and wondering what the hell that's supposed to mean.

Forecast was foreboding, so they had the road mostly to themselves.

Planted like Robert!

They're just so perfect for this road...short wheelbase, rear drive, good power, tight suspension...

Unfortunately...

Not all of them made it back home. We heard the rear end broke on this one, sending it over the edge on Hwy 28, tumbling several times down the bank, almost making it to the lake! The driver reportedly suffered only a broken arm and mild consussion. Jacob got this shot while shooting the Cheoah rafting along 129 south of the Gap.
