I think he knew how wide his load was, but his sign was "ider" than he realized.
Any idea why they wouldn't use one of those short, single axle cab-over trucks to move that "land yacht" through? Seems it would make it a wee bit easier to negotiate.
I dunno...too much weight for a single axle maybe?
