Random Update - January 10, 2007
Still here kickin! We had a good time hanging out in the warm sun Saturday...it was beautiful.
We've been holding off on announcing the next get together at the Gap. I was hoping to do it this weekend, but it snowed today and there is some salt on the roads. We'll see how next weekend looks. I probably won't be out in the Evo either way for a few weeks, because the transfer case is making some noise so I'm going to have it rebuilt by Shep Racing. I tried to get it repaired under warranty, but Mitsubishi refused to cover it saying the car had been modified. (no mods to the drive train) Apparently if you put ANYTHING on a Mitsubishi vehicle, they use that as a way out of fixing anything that goes wrong.
Best backed cars in America my ass. Mitsubishi service sux.
We're also planning to attend the Rolex 24 endurance race at Daytona later this month. Hope to see some familiar faces there!

Now that's the knid of advertising money just can't buy.
Smart move Mitsubishi.
Darryl, is the Flickr photo a Cosworth Vega?
If so, where did you run across that thing? Haven't seen one in a LONG time.
They can't legally do that to you.
Have a look at this:
http://www.free-lemon-law-guide.com/magnuson-moss-warranty-act.php
It talks about the Magnuson-Moss act, the federal law that says they are in the wrong.
I hope this helps you.

Take the Cosworth Vega from the Flickr Photo, there's a car you can thrash :)
Thanks guys. Yeah the Cosworth badge is on Jacob's old Vega. He recently recovered it from the field he had left it in years ago, and hopes to revive it one day...
