It amazes me that we still have point out this driving-in-the-wrong-lane-is-bad thing over and over.

One can only assume this extreme example is some career burger flipper attempting to impress the photographer, which also may imply he's reading this here.

You, child, will spend the rest of your life trying to scrape together twenty bucks to buy more beater car parts. 'Tis your destiny.

Where is that big armored Ford truck when we really need him?

I think this is the same idiot that's in the previous pic. Indeed, where are the semis when we need them?

Darryl- Would it be difficult to print photos on site? If you could, it would be nice to print a low-res photo right after people do this crap and give it to somebody to take to the store. Maybe Brad could have a "shitty driver/rider" bulletin board outside where the photos could be posted. That way, everybody knows who the idiots are the same day, instead of reacting to it 4 days later while in the comfort of their homes. Maybe people would be more willing to confront the perps if given the chance. This guy definitely needs to be confronted. I'll start a collection the minute you tell us you can do it.

That's a damn good idea Noah. I'm in San Antonio and have only been to y'alls neck of the woods twice but after watching this crap week in and week out...I'd donate. Darryl, make it a PayPal kinda deal and I'll sponsor the instant gratification of letting these asshats watch as photos of their moronic behavior gets posted at the store moments after it happens.

What state is this plate?

VSM-7157

Makes me want to rent a suburban with the optional insurance, maintain my lane and take out the driver side of one of these cars. Not that this is a good thing.

I've heard of people crossing the line getting chased down and given a talking to. This guy need to be chased down and given a punch to the throat to. Sounds like he scared the daylights out of a lot of drivers. Nobody caught up to him and told him how much of a douche he was???!!!

Legoinry,

I'm sorry, but you are a wanabe.

1. The gap is absolutely the wrong place to try to practice drifting.

2. Killboy's site is absolutely the wrong place to hone your grammer / writing skills.

3. Excuses are for ass%$@#$! It would be far better to simply say, "I'm sorry! I was wrong. I won't do it again. Please forgive me."

The saddest part of all of this is that you still don't get it. You seem to have no grasp of how many lives (including your own) you put on the line with your selfish and reckless driving manners. Had I been coming the other way through that (blind) section of road on my bike I would not be alive to type this. How do you expect people to react when you directly threaten their lives with a 3000lb vehicle? I don't know what part of your brain has to be missing for you to justify driving on the wrong side of the road, but if you can't keep your vehicle in your own lane and under complete control you don't need to drive. I just hope to God you are the only one that ends up hurt or killed when the inevitable happens as a result of your childish actions.

If I see you driving in this manner I WILL confront you about it, and I may very well have a group of other angry motorists with me when I do. This kind of garbage driving is simply not tolerated here. You have no right to threaten my life or anyone else's because you can't keep your vehicle under control. Grow up.

"real jap mountain drifting" WTF?

Yes, it's on a mountain, and indeed you're riding in a Japanese car, (notice I didn't say driving) but the words "real" and "drifting" are mistakenly applied here. 'Real poor car control' would have been a better fit.

Not even Rhys Millen would attempt to drift on an over-crowded, low visibility public road such as this stretch of U.S. 129. In fact, I'll bet Mr. Millen (I know you know who he is) wouldn't drift on any public road any more than he'd ride in your car with you.

Speaking of words, what's the four-wheel equivalent for the derogatory "squid"?

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I WILL remember that car. Know that you are not welcome on the dragon with your poor, selfish, dangerous attitude. I WILL be on the lookout for you any time that I'm on the mountain. Beware.

Yes we all know what drifting is, we've seen Fast and Furious, the much better Formula D events, and the even better Initial D anime that was out before you had a license.

We also know that what happens on TV or in a Movie ain't always the smartest thing to be trying to copy.

Drifting (or TRYING to drift in this case) on a public road full of fast moving motorcycles is vehicular homicide, and you are commiting attempted murder.

Make contact with another vehicle, and you will (hopefully) go to trial for your actions.

Do you like driving on this road?

Do you understand how fortunate we are to have a place we can all play without (much) harrassment from the police?

What do you think it would take to screw that ALL up?

I am with Tyler on this one. If I had been coming around that curve (very much in control of my bike) I wouldn't have made it. The amount of time it would have taken you to get in your lane would have been too long. You can't just hit your brakes in the middle of a turn on a bike like you can a car. How about using what small amount of brain that you have and stay in your lane.

Darryl Cannon aka "killboy" said...

Don't stress it too much tigger, we have all of the contact info for this person. The car appears to be registered to his mom, or a female at least. If he causes further problems, we'll be in touch with the owner and the authorities with all the proof we need.

I'd rather not drag them into this if at all possible, so let's hope we got through to him and his 2 friends.

You guys are welcome to come back and enjoy the area, IF you can just keep it between the lines.

Dear Legoinry,

I am a husband and father of 2. Guess what's going to happen if you ever jeapordize their livelihood by putting my life in danger? In case you're too stupid to figure it out, which you probably are, I will turn around and follow you to wherever you are. Think about that next time you want to practice your amateur skills on a public road. And also keep in mind that the next guy you threaten might be a little closer to losing his sanity than I am. Piece of s**t!

Love,

Big D
