Weekly Update - October 18, 2006
Photos from last week are uploading to Tha Store right now.
It's been a pretty hectic few weeks here in the kill household. We finally got all of the orders affected by the hard drive failure shipped out this week...took about a week longer than expected of course. Typical day is: wake up around 10am, go straight to work on shooting/sorting/orders...work until 4-5am, sleep, repeat. Woohoo!
For those keeping up with the MotoGP drama from last weekend, there's an interesting follow-up article here courtesy of our friend Keith Helton.
Bear and boar hunting season started Monday in NC, and lasts for a month. A few of the local guys said they would try their best to warn us if there is a hunting dog or bear/boar near the road, so if you see someone motioning for you to slow down, it might be in your best interest to heed them. Love 'em or hate 'em, the hunters are doing their thing out there legally, unlike most of us, so give them some space and you might have one less large animal to worry about taking you out.
Looks like a clear, cool weekend ahead. Just a few small car groups, like Carolina Hondas, Louisianna Corvettes, and some BMW roadsters are scheduled to appear, but I'm sure we'll see plenty of 2-wheeled action as well. On to the highlights from last week!

Was up there on Wednesday. Lots of leaves and broken trees on the Gap and Cherohala. DOT had all trees cleared before noon, and leaves had cleared by 15:00. Great Job guys.
Don't usually comment about drivers, but I made the slowest pass ever behind a silver Vette from Florida. Hit a blazing speed of 27 mph on a straight, less than 10 mph in a turn. Shame to have money for that car, and no cents to drive it.
Lots of great pull offs now, it would have been nice if they had been used.
