Titanium Butt!
Over the past couple of days, Gap regular Rick aka "Yellow Wolf" rode just over 1000 miles on Deals Gap in 24 hours...that was 53 round trips in a row! Next time you feel tired after making a couple of runs, just think about that. ;) Lori and I, along with other volunteers Ben and Zee, Jonathan and Linzi, MG and a couple of fellow 'Wing riders were fortunate enough to help document the event. Rick was in great spirits when he completed the ride, and even rode back home afterwards...about an hour away!

Congrats, Rick! It was fun to be a part of it - even if I stayed bundled up in the car and dozed off for a few hours while you rode your butt off in sub-freezing temperatures. :)
Congrats,
What a dream come true. Moving from the land of flat to ride 1000 miles on the gap.
Continued good luck with the videos, and I will see you passing me again in the spring.
AWESOME RICK! CONGRATS! I always enjoy watching you attack the Dragon! Ride safe!

Incredible! Truly incredible!
Go Rick! I think I can honestly say you have ridden the gap more than anyone else in 1 day! I think its time for some Titanium sliders too!

Rick... what were your tires like, before and after?

Just wanna add my congrats. That's the way to do a saddle sore. Big applause from the north!
Everyone's already saying it, but I want to add my congratulations to all of those you have received / will receive. One thousand miles on the gap is a damn impressive accomplishment! Damned IMPRESSIVE!
Magnificent. Where is the video from the 999?
I took the back roads from my house to the dragon, it took me 12 hours. I was exhausted. And my roads were much easier. I cant imagine even 12 hours on the dragon, let alone 24. A truly awe inspiring accomplishment.
You can be my wingman anytime Rick lol youll just never want to.. I like to go round the gap slow.. Id hate to lose my bike over a stupid mistake :) I did 700 miles on the gap over a weekend in July 05.. most fun I think Ive ever had
Wow, Rick!
I've seen you up there more than half the times I've been across the Gap. You're never anywhere long enough to say "Hi". Ever thought of doing this for charity?
Rick,
One more "Congrats" on the accomplishment.
If you happen to see this and choose to respond:
Was it easier or harder than you expected?
Did you ever hit "the wall" and if so when? How'd you get through it?
Thanks, and again Congrats on your personal victory.
hard to believe this was almost 10 yrs ago!!!
