Priority 1 after a crash is to check on the downed rider, but priority 1.000001 should be to make sure no one else goes down as a result of the first crash. In this case, a bike went down in front of the SUV, and he had to stop. Two sportbikes came around the blind turn and had to lock it up to avoid the stopped traffic...one bike going down as a result.

Finding stopped traffic in my lane (or a lane crosser) is my worst fear up there in those blind turns. Be careful folks!

Had this happen to me a couple of times. My XX makes less of a roadblock. I was amazed how many people will just ride by. I may carry flares in October.
Darryl,
What is the accident law in Tennessee? Can a crash be cleared before LEO's arrive. It was more than a hour for both crashes I stopped at. All involved were O.K. It would have been nice to push the cars and bikes off the road.
Viewing the skid trail, it seems as though the rider entered this turn way right, substantially shortening the view through the turn. Wonder if that had any influence on the unfortunate outcome.
