Weekly Update - July 05, 2006

Pretty hot last weekend...things got off to a slow start, with very little traffic Friday, and not a lot Saturday, but Sunday was busy and I'm betting Monday was as well. A lot of factories take this whole week off, so I'd say there are a lot of people on vacations here right now. There's nothing listed on the TOTD calendar for this weekend.

A new episode of Superbikes aired last night on Speed and I think it's safe to say it was much more enjoyable...which isn't saying a lot. Still, they focused a little more on safety and trackdays with a bit of California canyon carving to break it up. Still no Gap footage yet.

My friend Josh and I were messaging after the show and talking about canyon carving when we had the silly idea of people in Florida starting a riding club and calling it the "Florida Canyon Carvers"...so there ya go, some of you FL folks can start a club and call it that. We're going to stick with "Tennessee Whale Hunters".
