Woah no way. I was just talking to my friend about that motard and mentioning how awesome they looked. Mind I asked where you found yours at?
A guy was selling it in VA and my friend Keith Helton up there offered to bring it down when he came this week. It's a 2005 450SMR with 700 miles...mostly stock.
man that's insane... That and the 510 is what I was looking at. incredible machines
assdragger: 45 whopping HP, not too bad for a 450 single. Wheeler worked on it all day yesterday to get the best and smoothest power delivery we could. Revs to over 10,000rpm.
Brakes are strong, suspension is good...needs a little sorting out. (front feels spongy, rear feels stiff)
The front tire that the previous owner had on it is not what I would go with...a rain race front that will not warm up and chatters when pushed hard. The rear is a Goldspeed race slick that works pretty well. Either way, I had Wheeler order me some Pilot Power Race tires and I'll be putting those on tomorrow.
So is this Lori's new ride then.. or are you claiming this one as yours and getting her another one lol
