seeing this made me wonder...
Have you seen or heard of anyone hitting a deer, or bear, or turkey at Deal's Gap?
Something big, not a squirrel or rabbit size critter.

We didnt hit it but a friend and I had a bear run across the road right in front of us. he/she was good sized. All I could do was laugh. You expect a turkey or a squirrel. But not a freekin bear.
Good times.
I hit a bear last year, he just came running down the bank and across the road. He took up the whole lane coming out of a turn. I was side ways trying to miss it, but it didn't work. Broke off the canister on the exhaust and threw me straight up and somehow I held on and landed back on the seat and was able to ride away. The bear never missed a stride and was gone before I landed. Great day until that. Have fun, play safe.
