The owner and a friend did it themselves...just drilled into the hollowed out bracket that was already there, and stuck LEDs in from the back, then filled it with epoxy. There's a shot of the backside in Odd Shots.
BTW, this is the bike that was given away in Knoxville by 94.3 "The X" radio station. The contest was called Psycho Bike 2 and the prize was a new ZX-6R. He also owns a ZX-12R.
