Actually, it's more like 2600 lbs, give or take 40 or 50. I've seen a number along the lines of 2639 lbs. You'd have to strip a lot of stuff out and do a lot of carbon fiber bling bling to get it down to 2200. Even a Miata doesn't weigh 2200 or less these days.
