BMW engineers where around most of the week testing the new "M" version of the Z4...sounded like V8 power.

Seems like there's been a lot of auto companies running test mules through the Gap this year. Is it turning into the domestic 'Ring?
Not a big fan of the Z-series BMWs, but M-anything is great!
Howdy, Michael!
You gotta admit, it's probably a very cool job to have!
(Say... run this through the gap a time or two...)
No kidding; driving test mule BMWs anywhere would be (one of) my dream job(s).
Plus you've got to wonder if the car companies don't know that they'll get some buzz stirred up from it also. Look at all the rumors that went flying when they tested the C6 Vette's at the Nurburgring. As popular as the Dragon has become, and this site even, its bound to be good for publicity, especially if they stop off at the store for gas and a burger and park the prototypes out front for an hour or so.
I'd have to assume that if a car company is testing a new ride at the Gap, they at least care a LITTLE bit about how it handles curvy bits, and that makes it more appealing to me as a car buyer.
