Weekend Update - 9/30-10/2, 2005

Well last weekend wasn't without incident, but what weekend ever is at the Gap. Overall it was pretty nice though...the weather was cool and the hunters and rafters did their own things. The Hayabusa folks had their annual bash, and the BMW K1200s got together at Tapoco Lodge.

This weekend is the First Annual Smoky Mountain Bikeweek at Fontana Village. They have several events planned, but would really like to see the Pocketbike and Minibike races be successful. If any of you folks with minibikes are going to be in the area, be sure and bring them by for the practice Friday and races Saturday/Sunday. It's just for fun, doesn't cost anything, and there will be prizes. I'll bring my electric pocketbike and if enough show up, maybe we can even have an electric PB class. =P I'll be hanging out there Friday and helping setup the course. Hope to see some of you there.
