We had a few minor annoyances, like a couple of small spots of sand dumped in the road Friday morning. At first glance it can look like a sunny spot. The area Wildlife Resources officer was very concerned about this issue, and took down all of the information he could gather from us, and even got a sample of the fairly unique sand. (it had lots of silica in it) The Blount County Sheriff was also on the lookout for a suspect and warning folks down at the Overlook to be mindful of the sand.
