I wonder...

Do Japanese people ever ride around on Harleys flying the Rising Sun flag?

Possibly! But that VTX, depending on the year, is probably at least as much, if not more American made than the Harleys.

Outside USA is not that common use the flag for everything. With all respects I think american people use the flag too much, seems like a religious symbol.

No, Salva, it's not religion, it's pride. We're proud of our country and of what the flag stands for. If other countries aren't I feel sorry for them.

Hey Salva, President George W. Bush once called The Constitution of The United States, and I shit you not, quote:

"Just A God-Damned Piece of Paper!"

THE CONSTITUTION!!!

But he always had his flag-pin on!

What does that tell you?

Well, quite few of us took an oath to support and defend that "piece of paper". I fly a 3X5 flag because I am proud of the good things our country has done (who is just about always first on the scene of a major disaster to help out?), and also as a reminder that that ARE those of us who revere the flag, as the symbol of our country. I also fly the POW/MIA flag as a reminder that there are people who have made sacrifices for the freedom that many people take for granted. I believe there are quite a few people in this country who are against guns, violence, yadda, yadda, yadda. What they do not realize, is that they only have the freedom to feel and express those beliefs because SOMEONE was willing to defend their rights, and the rights of others. I am not blind, I know my government has done things that I do not support, but overall... we have the best country there is.

I say nothing against our country or any flag-wavers but one: GWB

" (who is just about always first on the scene of a major disaster to help out?), "

Like New Orleans, huh?

where i am from the flag is so 'sacred' you don't just fly it wherever, whenever. it took a while for people to be ok with putting it on sports uniforms! in 'our' perspective americans disrespect their flag (and what it stands for) by overuse.
