I'll be damned - and here I thought Stoner, Lorenzo and those boys were fast. But, hell, they crash, so they are SLOW! Hmmm.

"The fast guys aren't the ones crashing." Wasn't there a posting a few weeks ago of a sport bike rider (assumed to be a "fast guy") performing a classic high side?
If you would add to your statement "by and large the fast..." or "for the most part the fast...", then I would agree.
Fast guys do crash, but they usually walk away. It's the pirates that crash and need a meat wagon to take them to the hospital to put them back together because of the lack of gear.
