Nah, too pricey for the performance quotient for me personally. To each his own though. Plus I like my stereo thank you very much, and yes I like the sound of the engine too, just nice to have that option.
Interestingly, one of the car mags recently compared this Porsche to the new Tesla electric sportscar, and I figured the "super lightweight" version of the Boxster here would murder it on weight alone, but the electric Tesla with all those batteries actually weighed less! Significantly less! It still got beat by the Porsche on lap times, mostly due to the hard/low rolling resistance tires and poor weight distribution, but not by a whole lot.
But it is a great looking piece!
And it sure would be fun for an hour...or two...or three.
