I like it! RWD cars are too fun, aren't they?
SWEET, way to remind everyone how it should look
Happy Turkey Day sir!
SWEET indeed. :-) I'll be showing your vid to my friends via Facebook.
That car looks familiar...

Excellent choice of music DC - fits the video perfect
What song is it?
"American Boy" by Estelle featuring Kayne West
Thanks for the comments.
Pretty sweet track
Excellent video. What camera was used for this, and how was it mounted to the bike?
I'm still waiting for the video you're supposed to shoot from your RC helicopter through the gap.
Bill: GoPro HD stuck to the headlight with the suction cup included in the "Motorsports" kit.
Flash: I still don't think I'm good enough not to chop someone's head off. ;)
Darryl: thanks for the info.
I was thinking the worst that could happen would be the 'copter got out of signal range and flew off to places unknown, but, yeah, chopping someone's head off might be worse.
Getting out of range is practically impossible anymore, modern radios reach farther than you can see. A more common issue is getting so far out you can't see the orientation of the heli...they're so much less predictable than planes. I'll keep working at it though!
Impressive driving, Darryl. I saw a couple times where the rear broke traction. That's the advantage of being local: you can push it!
I can attest that the car really sticks to the road very well
Sweet videos Darryl! I've learned the hard way when using my GoPro to try and shoot video going AWAY from the sun... the camera doesn't seem to handle light very well. My best videos have been shot early in the morning before the sun is up above the trees.
What tires are you running on the S2K?
Agreed, although this road twist around so much it's hard to keep the sun in any location for very long. This new one does seem to handle the direct light better, and sometimes the lens flare can be a neat effect that might help keep you from falling asleep. ;)
The tires were Hankook Ventus V12 Evo all-season jobs that were down to the cords on the front and slicks in back. I wouldn't recommend them. Just mounted some Fuzion ZRis today that seemed pretty nice on this first trip over to Knoxville just now. First time trying them, and they should improve once the squirmy tread wears down a little bit.
Keep us posted on how you like those Fuzion ZRis. I have Kumho XS's on my Mazdaspeed 3 and they are pretty damn close to full-on race rubber. Lots of grip...when its dry. They suck in the rain though.
Nice vid, nice music choice, and nice driving and throttle control KB.
VERY nice vid. I liked seeing that S2k getting a little sideways there. ;)
