All photos are available in They were on their way to Bald River Falls just off the Cherohala Skyway, where he was going to propose to her, when they ran out of gas on 129. I stopped to check on them and got the story, (someone was already gone to get gas) so I made him re-enact what I had missed just minutes earlier. Congrats you two!

ReplyDeleteThe dog tank bag was blocking the view of the fuel light and most of the time I get about 160 miles on the bike before the fuel light comes on. that still gives me about 3/4 of a gallon left in the tank. but the bike ran out of gas at 121 miles. I knew I would need gas sooner then normal but not that soon.. From now on I will know to look more often when running it hard.
