During my visit earlier in the year it was quiet wet this time around. The first thing that I noticed is how much better the grip is on the roads there. Whatever they use in your pavement is a huge improvement over what we have in Florida. Learn to ride on slick pavement, then go up there its like riding the dry!
Lets give it up for his tires!! Anyone have ANY idea what they are? Cuz I'd like 'em :)
ReplyDeletePretty brave in the wet, I wouldn't have gone that far for sure.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't/can't do that on dry pavement!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing Pilot Powers
ReplyDeleteI don't care what tires he's using.. It takes b@lls to ride like that on wet no matter what.. hats off to him..
ReplyDeleteMost of today's tires are pretty good in the wet due to the silicon content...heat up pretty quick too. You just have to have confidence in trying it.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Darryl on the PP's. I have them on my bike and have never ridden on anything that sticks in the wet the way they do.
ReplyDeletei ride on the dunlop sportmaxx.. i pop wheelies in the rain while my friends just spin their tires
ReplyDeleteSmooth riding "in the wet" is the only way you can do this and is a credit to this guys skills !
ReplyDeleteThe rider refused to let KB show the next shot... :p

I absolutly LOVE the dunlop qualifier, and going from the qualifier to the Pilot powers, i was not impressed.
