Poor snake didn't make it across the road...
He was laying there to greet me Saturday morning...moved him out of the road.

Eastern Milksnake I belive.
AAAAGGGHHHH!! At first glance thought it was a Coral Snake. (Very poisonous!)
I believe the common name for this particular reptile is the TN Sail Snake ;)
Corn snake or milk snake, maybe. At first glance, I thought it might be a rat snake, but I don't think so. I would ask my phobic wife, but she would hit me first and probably hate Killboy for taking the picture.
well, i'm not sure what kind it is but a dead snake is a good snake......
Thanks Darryl for respectin' the critters. Ain't nothing wrong with snakes, they do a lot of good. Based on the pix I found elsewhere, I'd say it's an Eastern Milk Snake.
OK Darryl, so you have new boots now, let's see them please.. :)
Yup, that is a milk snake. I'm taking care of one at work, we named it 2%.
