Yeah I guess it is lame when someone puts in the hard work to chase after his piece of the American Dream.
Likely he didn't think he'd make it to 1989 let alone 2000. So he makes a special edition to commemorate a milestone.
Instead he could have just sat on his ass complaining on some blog.
