Lori made her first trip across during the day last weekend...

It went pretty well, aside from the Blackbird rider passing her head-on in her lane whilst cutting across Gravity Cavity, and the Ford Explorer in her lane a mile later...both of which caused her to panic. But hey, you'll get it back in your lane before you hit 'em, right? Nevermind the psychological impact your actions have on someone who may not be ready to deal with another head-on collision, and just wants to enjoy their favorite road.

That's great to hear, at least the part about Lori riding again. Hate to hear about the morons, though. Keep pluggin' away, Lori.

Good for you Lori!! Just keep working on it and with Darryl by your side you will be fine. We are so proud of both of you. ^^ ^^

NOW - as for you butt heads that can't or choose not to keep it on YOUR side and endanger the lives of our loved ones - YOU NEED TO JUST STAY HOME!!! Even if you don't care enought about yourself to be safe then please think of others that might be trying to get over an accident or even those who just don't have the skills to correct YOUR mistakes when you are in their lane. Ride Safe - Stay Safe - Live to see another day!

Thanks to all who are responsible for Lori's new leathers. That was very kind.

You go, girl! And kbmom is right about those asshats that refuse (or choose not to) stay their own lanes, you might want to consider just staying home.

Lori,
It's great to see you out riding again.
Sorry that a bird rider was one of the jerks.

How is the 636 doing? Better than when you got her I hope.

I will be riding the area this weekend, and you know which side of the road I stay on.

Safe and continued progress,
Craig

Thanks everyone!! The support my family and friends (some I have met and some I haven't) has shown me, has really helped me get back out there.

I love, love, love the new leathers, nice and bright! If it gets people to see me, maybe they won't hit me or pull out in front of me. :)

The 636 is still..um..not looking so good. :/ Hopefully she'll be back out there before too long.

As for the bikes/cars in my lane, I'm just glad I was able to avoid an accident. I handled the situation a lot better than I thought I would, I didn't black out! :) I did panic a little at first, but then I just got really mad, but was able to move to my white line and let them go on by.

Thanks again!

Glad to see you ok lori. Take it slow and steady. I would just like to thank you and killboy for the hard work that you guys do with the site. Took me a while to get back in the swing after I t-boned a lady that pulled out in front of me. God bless you both.
