One year I trailered down from Michigan, 12 hour drive. Came across the gap at 1 am, Pink Floyd playing...fog, rain, all was good till I came across trucks hauling boats in my lane. If that wasn't enough, came up on a truck stopped in the middle of the road down by Tapoco loading 4 bikes on a trailer. Just goes to show there isn't a good time to not be paying attention.
