Thanks to Blount County Sheriff's Deputies

For escorting a lot of the semis across lately.  It's not the best solution to that problem, but it is a start.

We need to get photos and video of that, if BCSO is refusing to ticket the trucks for crossing the centerline.

That's a perfect Equal Protection defense to everyone else, under the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution. When one group of citizens gets to do something without prosecution, then everyone gets to do it.

The 35th amendment says you are a stupid moron.

Have you even read the US Constitution?

Do you read or listen to people, or do you just quote things out of your @ss at every opportunity?

Do we know for certain if these trucks are or are not being ticketed? By crossing the double yellow under any circumstances, they are clearly a danger to every other person on the right of way. Their treatment... or the lack thereof by the authorities, ought to be a factor in any discussion with the police, the courts and, of course, the honorable Governor of the great state of Tennessee.

the certainly didn't ticket the one that I saw crossing yesterday...don't even think the trooper was gonna escort him if I hadn't stopped and motioned for him to pull out and "get him!!!!". He had a 10 second chit chat with the driver then drove ahead of him to warn oncoming traffic. For the few miles I was behind the truck before that I cringed at every curve just waiting for the inevitable....I was looking for an opportunity to jump in front of him myself to escort him, he ran cars off the road and had a couple of close calls with bikers. SCARY!!!!

This morning I heard on the local news that $65,000 had been approved in supplemental spending for patrolling The Dragon.

Gotta love it...

This is probaby going to be un popular, but I don't mind a few Leos around to hold down the crazyness,if they just wouldn't nit-pick the small stuff.
