Looks like a common mistake- locking up the rear- for a long way too

... and with cargo like that on the back, what a shame!
Wonder how much farther they made it on that thing.
I was riding with them, the tire started off that morning as a faintly visible cord pattern. we rode from Knoxville over the Smokies and then back up to Knoxville via the dragon. He made it home OK but you should have seen the tire then! It was a soft compound racing tire.
