The lack of a helmet law was a bit surreal for me...
It made the shots much more personable since you could see the rider's face, but the thought of crashing without a helmet...

yeah its weird not having to wear a helmet down here. My favortie thing I like especially in my town of Aiken, SC. Guy will wear helmets like ball caps. Not really down on their head but more sitting on top of there head. I kinda see that as a missile in an accident but there aren't that many accidents from what I hear at the Bike week.
Darwin was right about evolution. The smartiest wears a helmet and survives. :))))
There were 6 deaths in the couple weeks of bike week this year at myrtle beach. There was 2 deaths all last season on the 11.1 miles of the dragon. You do the math...
