Come on now guy...

That right lane is plenty wide enough for your car. This was a rare sight, and the Minis were very well-behaved for the most part.

I think it funny how people are commenting on this guy, but ignoring the guy on the bike doing the same thing three pics above.

If you had to pick one which would you like to take head-on. Quit being "Butt Hurt". He is WAY in the wrong lane and being called out.

The motorcyclist sucks just as much as this person, no hiding it there. If I can keep my huge Crown Victoria in the lane (and on the road, rather than it's roof) you Mini drivers should be able to as well!

Several of us had a "word" with this MINI owner and this did not happen again (first time on the Dragon). Apologies from all of the MINI community!

Thanks for taking the initiative BD. It's a common mistake with new folks. All we can do is try to reach them before their first run. I edited the tagline as well.

Hey at least the mini group is very aware of gap etiquette. From what I've seen here all sh**ty driving gets called out. No one group likes to have asshats giving them a bad name. On another note, are weekdays better for the less fools quotient? Looks like the weekends are getting crazier. last time I ran the Gap was in 1988!. I know, (everyone still talks about the good old days) but you could have clean runs with out even see another vehicle some weekdays. Not having been there in such a long time makes it hard to understand what has changed. Is it that many more posers and jackoff artists? Or just everyone knows about it and word of mouth brings ALL out to say the did it.

Darryl, I did warn them all that people crossing the yellow line will be seen doing it,will almost certainly be photographed, and will find themselves shamed online when the photographic evidence is posted here or elsewhere.

But I can say that we did a very good job this year of ensuring that everyone KNEW how they were supposed to behave on the dragon, the the vast majority were fantastic about maintaining control.

Thanks for having us and we look forward to next May (and a couple small trips before then)

I really don't understand this driver's thinking. Cutting the corner is going to shave off a few seconds to make the points lead? Even in racing you get docked points for not staying in your lane.

Thanks big daddy/eric for straightning this one out.
