Weekly Update - August 23, 2006
Back from FL...it was hot...nice weather otherwise though...not a drop of rain. Got back here Saturday night and woke up to rain Sunday.
This weekend is the Women's Sportbike Rally and The Drifters Summer Getaway. And don't forget that Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson in Maryville is throwing an anniversary bash culminating with a Guiness World Record attempt at the worlds largest simultaneous motorcycle burnout. I mean, if you like doing burnouts, this is your chance...might even get your mug in the official book of records!
Also in this month's issue of Motorcyclist magazine there is an article about our Czech friend George Niedoba who has been on the front page here several times in the past. He lost the use of his right arm in a motorcycle accident several years ago, but still rides bikes and quads with all of the controls setup on the left side. He's freaking fast too...he'll smoke your ass at Jennings! ;)
And finally, Marco, a fan of the site, sent me this photo. He calls it "Marco races a Harley" I found it humorous.
On to the highlights!

George is a nice guy and a hell of a rider. Great article.
Darryl,
Reference Marco's picture, it is clear that you are easily amused!
Jeff,
Yes, it is a gift I am very thankful for. Shame more people don't have it.
Nah I think it's an old school motorcycle thing, not cars sideways. ;)
Heh. He's not even breaking a sweat.
