Poser? What do you think about a '32 Ford with a Chevy 350? Or a '51 Mercury with '53 Buick side trim? Classic looks that have been around for a long time and look great.
I don't think there's any "posing" going on. I can only imagine the amount of work that went into getting that fairing to fit, and it looks pretty dman good.
It appears to be a fairing made by Targa. They offer a more or less bolt on kit that is pretty straight forward and simple to do. Quality stuff that allows the use of a fairing on many bikes that didn't come with one.
It's not about making the bike look like anything else, it's about function. More protection from the wind, easier to mount radio's, gps, ect. Plus they look great... if that's your style.
I don't know the guy but he obviously isn't a poser. He's out riding and having a good time.
