The Cobra group was on the scene Thursday and Friday with what has to be one of the most widely adored car designs in history.

These were yeah. A few days later, (Mon-Tue) there was a group of original Cobras in the area. Only about 6-8 cars totaling over $3 million. I like the styling of the replicas a little better though...the fenders are more aggressively flared.

A friend has the only real Cobra Ive seen at the dragon.

Its white and blue.

The term "kit" is just a old term for these cars. Replica or recreation is a better fit nowadays.

These replicas are in fact alot better than the originals.

Using modern design/motors/drivetrain/etc, one can see why.

Last week was Factory Five Racing brand cruising.

This one is a Superformance.

Both are replicas of the orginals and both are great cars.

The Superformance is a little pricy, but as fit and finnish goes, beautiful. Add a motor and trans, you running.

Factory five comes with the basics and you build the whole car. So quailty is in the hands of the builder.

Deffinately a timeless look.
