If you honestly think someone can hear your bike's exhaust (anyone that it matters too) in heavy traffic you are fooling yourself. Your horn does more for you than your exhaust ever will.
I still had temp tags at the time...it was ridiculous...took 2 months for the TN dealership to get my paperwork straight for the NC DMV. It's now just a metal generic plate until my personalized tag comes in: DRGNXPRS. In the time it took for them to get my paperwork straight and get me a metal tag, I was on my third set of tires, 3rd oil change, and had about $6000 in upgrades installed.
Loud pipes DO save lives - I'm living proof commuting daily in heavy traffic!!
Who cares if they are annoying?
