Random Update - Jan 28, 2009

Lots of great highlight photos this week, but no news to speak of...still winter, still blah. Raining hard right now, and snow is about to hit us according to the radar. We had a little Rock Band/Guitar Hero party at a friend's house last weekend, and got some...uh, interesting video from that I'll have online soon.

Our friends Molly and Paul got certified to come swim with us.  Here's Paul training at 50,000 leagues under the pool.

So moving on, we went for a swim.

 

ARR! Ye call that...well, actually that really is a nice anchor.

We call these guys Sea Slugs...

 

We got to pet one a couple of times...they were soft and fuzzy.

 

This, on the other hand, is a sea snake...

...or eel. Either way, no petting.

We dived a couple of times on a shallow shipwreck...

 

Is it real?

A few of the more experienced divers went inside the ship...

I wussed and stayed outside.

 

But I did swim through the outer structures...

...'cause I'm a daredevil like that.

 

I also found a pair of aviator sunglasses laying on the propeller.

 

The tiger-stripe fishies seemed to like it too.

About the biggest school of fish we saw.

 

It's hard to resist touching everything you see down there.
