Weekly Update - November 11th, 2009

Hey y'all...hope you're doing well. As always, our photos from the last six years are available in Tha Store here.

Fairly busy weekend, but dead calm during the week last week. A couple of small car groups, and lots of bikes out enjoying the warm sunny conditions. We're still trying to do daily updates on the TOTD twitter feed, for those interested.

Good Morning America was out there Monday shooting for a segment that will air on the Sunday morning episode...it will be about the Dragon and Indian motorcycles and featured a group of new Indian bikes led by a vintage 1955 model ridden by the owner of the Wheels Through Time motorcycle museum in Maggie Vally NC.

Today BCSO was escorting a convoy of oversize trucks and cranes through the Gap and did a great job of warning me before I became a hood ornament, thank ye! I guess one of them got hung up though, because the road was closed for a few hours for some reason, but it's back open again.

Ok, that's all for now. On to the highlights!

What a cheesball segment on GMA.

On the yellow lines for most of the piece.

I saw that right away, thought to myself "they're gonna be howling on Killboy's site after this".

Re: Twitter feed. I don't think there's any center line on 129 until you get to where it runs with 411. Si? No?

Oops...I mean center lane.
